The ceiling, , lighting and the HVAC contractors need to know where the speakers are going into the ceiling so they can avoid conflicts between their products and the LV-systems.
The GC needs to know all this information plus what equipment needs additional support and framing.
Location(s) for equipment racks and telephone equipment demarcation have to be on the AV Plan.
CCTV security camera positions & locations, including the camera lenses, housing and lighting conditions, need to be determined.
Cable/SAT services have to be planned for.
TV locations and Cable box locations need to be addressed.
Cable boxes and audio controls must be positioned for application needs.
If the electrical contractor does no know where to install equipment ruff-ins or run cable & power they cannot give you a price quote for the work.
This information needs to be put into the Systems plan. The electrical engineering company needs to know this information so they can add it to the electrical diagrams. The architect needs this info so there are no conflicts with the design. The owner needs it so they have the systems in the budget.
